David L. Hoff is the president and CEO of Wayne Memorial Health System in Honesdale, Pa., which includes Wayne Memorial Hospital, Wayne Memorial Health Foundation, Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers, a skilled nursing home and a for-profit division called Wayne Health Services.
Here are five things to know about Mr. Hoff:
1. Mr. Hoff's previously served as CEO of Iron County Community Hospitals in Iron River, Mich., and vice president of operations at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kan.
2. During his tenure at Wayne Memorial Hospital, he has been instrumental in developing a Level IV trauma center.
3. He played a key role in establishing the health system's partnership with Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Medical Center, Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Pa., and local physicians to create the Keystone Accountable Care Organization.
4. He is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives
5. Mr. Hoff holds an MBA degree from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, as well as a master's in health administration degree from Ohio State University in Columbus.
