UAB Medicine, Russell Medical Center in Alabama Form Joint Venture for Cancer Care
Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, Ala., and the University of Alabama at Birmingham have formed a joint venture to improve oncology services, according to a UAB news release.Under the relationship, the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center will provide RMC with UAB Medicine's best practices in cancer care, greater access to clinical trials, continuing medical education for nurses and oncologists and access to education about advancements in cancer detection and treatment.
