St. Joseph's Hospital in Wisconsin Opens Cancer Center, Specialty Clinics

St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend, Wis., part of Milwaukee-based Froedtert Health, announced the opening of a new cancer center and specialty clinics.

The new 21,000-square-foot Kraemer Cancer Center is part of the Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Network, and offers expanded space for chemotherapy and radiation therapy services, a linear accelerator and expanded patient services. The center cost $10 million, according to a Journal Sentinel report.

The Froedtert & The Medical College Specialty Clinics, which is located in the same facility as the cancer center, expanded from 2,500 square feet to 18,000 square feet. The clinics include space for more physicians from The Medical College of Wisconsin and additional services. The clinic now offers internal medicine and colorectal surgery and expanded services in plastic and reconstructive surgery, infectious diseases and electrophysiology, according to the hospital.
