Cancer Treatment Centers of America Breaks Ground on Georgia Hospital

Cancer Treatment Centers of America officially broke ground on a 212,000-square-foot, all-digital facility in Newnan, Ga., according to a company news release.

The hospital will have 50 beds, along with ICU rooms, an outpatient clinic, radiation department and other accommodations for patients and their families. More than two-thirds of its cancer patients are expected to arrive for treatment from outside of Georgia. The hospital is expected to open in Sept. 2012.
