The following hospitals and health systems announced layoffs or job cuts in November.

1. West Penn Allegheny (Pittsburgh).

The health system announced cuts for dozens of jobs, including those in special care nursery and mental health services, in order to stem losses, according to a Petoskey News report. The cuts are expected to save the system $9 million over the next year.
