Wills Memorial CFO to become CEO: 5 things to know

Tracie Haughey, CFO of Washington, Ga.-based Wills Memorial Hospital, will take over the CEO position while also, for now, continuing as CFO, according to the News-Reporter.

Here are five things to know about Ms. Haughey.

1. She has 25 years of accounting experience, nine of which were in public accounting with Ernst & Young where she worked as a staff, senior and audit manager on clients in healthcare, financial services and government.

2. She also previously was self-employed and operated her own accounting business.

3. She came to work for Wills Memorial as assistant CFO in 2010, and became the CFO in February 2014.

4. Ms. Haughey received her bachelor's degree in accounting/business administration from Clinton, S.C.-based Presbyterian College in May 1991.

5. She was licensed as a certified public accountant in North Carolina from 1994 to 2000. She went inactive with her CPA license when she moved to Georgia in 2000.
