Honesdale, Pa.-based Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers has appointed Norma Nocilla as director of quality assurance, according to a report from the Pocono Record.
As director of quality assurance, Ms. Nocilla will oversee the planning, supervision and coordination of performance improvement initiatives across the federally qualified health center's offices in Wayne, Pike and Lackawanna counties.
Prior to her appointment, Ms. Nocilla held various leadership positions in healthcare quality and performance improvement at local health systems.
Some of her previous positions include regional manager of risk and patient safety and patient safety officer of Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System and director of quality and clinical outcomes for Geisinger's Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pa. She also served as director of performance improvement at the former Marian Community Hospital in Carbondale, Pa.
