TriStar Skyline Medical Center names CFO

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., has appointed Michael Morrison CFO, according to The Tennessean.

Mr. Morrison comes to 213-bed TriStar Skyline from 148-bed TriStar Hendersonville (Tenn.) Medical Center, where he served as CFO. Both facilities are part of Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America.

While at TriStar Hendersonville, Mr. Morrison helped lead approval of a $33 million capital project. He also helped establish a freestanding emergency room in Portland, Tenn., according to the report.

TriStar Skyline CEO Steve Otto is excited for Mr. Morrison to join the hospital's executive team. "With 18 years' experience as a CFO at HCA facilities and breadth of experience in healthcare, Morrison has extensive knowledge of the area market and a proven track record as an effective hospital leader," Mr. Otto said in a statement, according to The Tennessean.
