River Oaks Hospital CEO Tim Mitchell Dies
Tim Mitchell, CEO of River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, Miss., has died of an apparent heart attack, according to a Clarion Ledger report. Mr. Mitchell was 48.
Mr. Mitchell was named the hospital's CEO in May. Prior to joining River Oaks, he served as CEO of Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, according to the report. He had been named CEO of the Year in 2004 and 2009 by Hospital Management Associates, River Oak's parent company, according to the Clarion Ledger.
Mr. Mitchell was married with two children.
