Gary Kendrick, Interim CEO for Morehouse General Hospital, has announced that Derrick Frazier will join the management team as hospital CEO on Dec. 27, 2016. A new Interim CFO, Bill Storck, also recently joined the Morehouse staff.
"Derrick has years of healthcare operational and financial leadership experience, and Bill is an experienced and accomplished CFO," said Kendrick. "We are pleased to welcome them to our executive team."
Frazier comes to Morehouse General Hospital from Homer Memorial Hospital, Homer, La., a 66-bed hospital where he served as CEO. His previous experience includes management roles with Phoebe Putney Health System in Albany, Ga. as Chief Administrative Officer for the System's SWGA Regional Medical Center and AVP of Operations, Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. His experience also includes leadership positions at several other Georgia and Texas hospitals. Frazier holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Savannah State University in Georgia and a Master of Science in Health Service Administration from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah.
Interim CFO Storck joined Morehouse General Hospital in November 2016 from Monroe County Hospital in Forsythe, Ga., where he also served as Interim CFO. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Augusta State University in Augusta, Ga. and has held similar financial management positions with hospitals in Texas and Oklahoma.
