Morristown Medical Center appoints new co-director of heart program: 4 things to know

Morristown (N.J.) Medical Center named Philippe Généreux, MD, as the new co-director of the hospital's structural heart program.

Here are four things to know.

  1. Dr. Généreux is an interventional cardiologist

  1. He currently serves as director of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation's angiographic core laboratory in New York City.

  1. Dr. Généreux received his medical degree from the Université de Montréal in Québec, Canada, and performed his interventional cardiology and structural heart fellowship at Columbia University in New York City.

  1. He's led or co-led more than 20 clinical trials and published more than 300 articles in peer-reviewed cardiology journals.
