Medical City Dallas named Kenneth Rothfield, MD, CMO, effective Aug. 14.

1. Dr. Rothfield currently serves as system vice president, CMO, chief quality officer and patient safety officer at St. Vincent's Healthcare in Jacksonville, Fla.
2. He previously served as chairman of the anesthesiology department at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
3. He holds an MBA in medical services management and a graduate certificate in business of medicine from Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University.
