Houston-based Texas Children's Hospital named Matt Schaefer president of Texas Children's Hospital West Campus in Houston, according to Katy Magazine.
Here are three notes:
1. Mr. Schaefer was, most recently, vice president of Texas Children's Hospital West Campus.
2. He joined Texas Children's in 2009 and has been a part of the West Campus leadership team since it was developed.
3. He replaces Chanda Cashen Chacón, who recently left for Little Rock-based Arkansas Children's, where she was named executive vice president and COO.
