Mark Tribbett named president of new North Carolina shared services company

Mark W. Tribbett, FACHE, has been named president of Socius Health Solutions, a new shared services company formed by three North Carolina health systems — Greenville-based Vidant Health, Winston-Salem-based Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Raleigh-based WakeMed Health & Hospitals.

Mr. Tribbett has more than 30 years of healthcare management experience with extensive experience as a hospital administrator and consultant.

As president of Socius Health, he will lead efforts to transform healthcare models and support infrastructure that reduce costs and best meet the needs of diverse patient populations, according to a news release.

Prior to joining Socius Health, Mr. Tribbett established AlphaHealth, a healthcare innovations firm focused on strategic planning and the development of healthcare enterprises. Additionally, Mr. Tribbett served in leadership positions within hospital and healthcare systems for 17 years.
