LifePoint Hospitals names 3 vice presidents

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals has appointed three new vice presidents: Mary Kiger is now vice president of service line development, Conrad Deese is vice president of finance for LifePoint's Eastern Group and Rick Phillips is vice president of clinical operations.

As vice president of service line development at LifePoint Ms. Kiger will lead the development of a standard set of integrated services lines to improve quality, operational and cost efficiency as well as grow market share.

As vice president of finance for LifePoint's Eastern Group, Mr. Deese will provide oversight of financial operations, including integration of new acquisitions, budget preparation, capital planning, fiscal accountability and operational assessments.

Mr. Phillips will guide the implementation of specific clinical service lines in LifePoint's hospitals, as well as direct efforts to improve performance, standardization, coordination of resources and application of evidence-based practices in his role as vice president of clinical operations.
