Plano, Texas-based LifeCare Holdings, which operates LifeCare Hospitals, also based in Plano, has named Frank J. Battafarano COO.
Mr. Battafarano has served in the position on an interim basis since October 2014.
Mr. Battafarano has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the long-term and post-acute sectors. Before joining LifeCare, he served in several positions with Louisville, Ky.-based Kindred Healthcare, including COO, executive vice president and president of the hospital division.
