Fergus Fall, Minn.-based Lake Region Healthcare named Kyle Richards CEO, effective June 2017.
Here are six things to know:
1. Most recently, Mr. Richards served as president of the Hills Market and Regional Health Network for Rapid City, S.D.-based Regional Health.
2. Prior to that, he was Regional Health's COO.
3. His previous roles also include serving as CEO of Waverly (Iowa) Health Center and CEO of Sanford Webster Medical Center and Bethesda Home, based in Sioux Falls, S.D.
4. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
5. He holds a master's of public administration degree, with an emphasis in health services, from Vermillion-based University of South Dakota.
6. He succeeds Larry Schulz, who is retiring after nearly a decade at the helm of Lake Region Healthcare.
