John Dineen, former CEO of GE, will join Merrimack Pharmaceuticals' board of directors.
Since leaving GE in October of 2014, Mr. Dineen has served as an Operating Advisor to Clayton, Dublier & Rice, LLC. Prior to his time at GE, Mr. Dineen worked as CEO of GE Transportation, President of GE Plastics and Manager of Finance for GE Asia in Hong Kong.
"John is one of the healthcare industry's top operating executives having led the global growth and exceptional performance of GE Healthcare," said Gary Crocker, chairman of the board of Merrimack.
Mr. Dineen's addition to the Merrimack board of directors comes at the same time as the announcement of board member Gordon Fehr's retirement. Mr. Fehr has been a board member since 1999.
