Grace Cottage Hospital/Carlos G. Otis Health Care Center in Townshend, Vt., has named Roger Allbee CEO and administrator, effective immediately.
Mr. Allbee has served as interim CEO since January 2014.
He is on the Grace Cottage Hospital Board of Trustees as well as the Grace Cottage Foundation Board of Directors. Mr. Allbee previously served as Vermont's secretary of agriculture, food and markets under Gov. Jim Douglas and Vermont's executive director of the USDA Farm Service Agency.
Additionally, Jeanne Fortier has been named COO of Grace Cottage Hospital, a position she has been serving in an interim capacity. Ms. Fortier joined Cottage Hospital in 2008 as CNO. Prior, she served as vice president of patient care services at Mount Desert Island Hospital in Bar Harbor, Maine.
