Cleveland Clinic appointed Daniel Napierkowski, MD, president of Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights, Ohio, effective immediately.

1. Dr. Napierkowski most recently served as president of Cleveland Clinic Euclid (Ohio) Hospital.
2. He will serve as president of both the Marymount and Euclid hospitals until a successor has been selected for Euclid Hospital.
3. An anesthesiologist by training, Dr. Napierkowski previously served as chairman of Regional Practice Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic.
4. He has been a staff anesthesiologist at Cleveland Clinic since 1997.
5. Dr. Napierkowski replaces Richard D. Parker, MD, who left to serve as president of Mayfield Heights, Ohio-based Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital and the East Region.
