Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake, located in Dallas, has appointed Jorge Trevino as COO.
As COO, Mr. Trevino will be responsible for several departments including facilities, environmental services, emergency, pharmacy, lab, biomedical engineering and risk management.
Most recently, Mr. Trevino served as COO of Valley Baptist Health System, a 586-bed hospital in Harlingen, Texas.
"Jorge has a passion for seeing transformational leadership in action and is adept at being an effective change agent," said Jay Krishnaswamy, CEO of Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake. "We look forward to welcoming him to our hospital."
Trevino earned a master's degree in nursing administration from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a member of the National Association of Health Service Executives.
