Director of Michigan Association of Health Plans retires

Michigan Association of Health Plans in Lansing will appoint Dominick Pallone as director Jan. 1 to succeed retiring director Rick Murdock, Crain's Detroit Business reported.

Mr. Murdock worked for MAHP since 2002, first as deputy director and then as executive director in 2004. He was also director of the Michigan Department of Community Health from 1997 to 2002.

Mr. Pallone began working with MAHP in 2014 following seven years with Midwest Strategy Group in Lansing, Mich. He also worked as aide to former Sen. Shirley Johnson (R-Mich.) and former Rep. Marty Knollenberg (R-Mich.).
