CEO Tom Jackson to Leave the College Station Medical Center

CEO of the College Station (Texas) Medical Center, Tom Jackson, will step down in mid-July, according to an article in The Eagle.

Mr. Jackson was named CEO of College Station Medical Center in 1997, which at the time was called the Brazos Valley Medical Center. Prior to his position as CEO, Mr. Jackson spent 16 years working in Houston for KPMG International, headquartered in Chicago.

"His many accomplishments include overseeing two major facility expansions, introducing a robotic surgery program, opening the area's only level II neonatal intensive care unit and developing an integrated medical campus with Texas A&M University Health Science Center," Russell Marriot, a hospital spokesman, told The Eagle.

According to the article, Mr. Jackson accepted a position at another hospital in Texas.
