Paul LaCasse, DO, president of Beaumont Hospital-Farmington Hills (Mich.), formerly Botsford Hospital, is leaving his position to focus on his role as executive vice president of Royal Oak, Mich.-based Beaumont Health's post-acute care division.

Here are three things to know about Mr. LaCasse.

1. As executive vice president of the post-acute division, Mr. LaCasse, who is board-certified in emergency medicine, is leading the clinical and operational areas of medical transportation, senior living centers, home services, laboratory and pathology services, specialty and retail pharmacy, joint ventures and diversified business entities.

2. He has served as president and CEO of Botsford Health Care in Farmington Hills since 2005. His role expanded earlier this year to include responsibilities with Beaumont Health, the new organization formed through a merger of Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak, Oakwood Healthcare in Dearborn, Mich., and Botsford Health Care in September 2014.

3. Mr. LaCasse will continue to serve as president of Beaumont-Farmington Hills until a successor is named through an executive search.
