Oakland, Calif.-based Alameda Health System named Donna Carey, MD, chief of pediatrics.

1. Dr. Carey has provided care at Alameda Health System since 2013. She is also a staff physician at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in San Francisco.
2. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Roots Community Alliance.
3. She has completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine at University of California, San Francisco.
4. In her new role, Dr. Carey will lead the division of pediatrics, covering inpatient and outpatient pediatric services, and serve as the division's liaison to hospital administration.
