Akron (Ohio) Children's Hospital named Harun Rashid vice president and CIO.
Most recently, Mr. Rashid served as vice president for international services and vice president for telehealth services at Pittsburgh-based UPMC. He also served as vice president for global health services and CIO of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, Pittsburgh-based Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC and Pittsburgh-based Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC.
"We are very excited to have Harun on our leadership team at Akron Children's," said Akron Children's Hospital COO Grace Wakulchik in a statement.
