ACHE Term Begins for Elected Board Members

The 2014-2015 American College of Healthcare Executives board members have officially begun their term, taking their newly elected offices on Saturday at the Council of Regents Meeting preceding ACHE's 57th Congress on Healthcare Leadership.

Christine Candio, RN, CEO of Inova Alexandria (Va.) Hospital and senior vice president of Falls Church, VA.-based Inova Health System, assumed the office of ACHE Chairman.

Richard Cordova, president and CEO of Children's Hospital Los Angeles, assumed the office of Chairman-Elect.

Additionally, the following four healthcare executives were chosen to serve a three-year term on the ACHE Board of Governors.

•    James Connolly, president and CEO of Ellis Medicine, Schenectady, N.Y.
•    David Olson, senior vice president of external relations and chief strategy officer of Froedtert Health, Milwaukee
•    Charles Stokes, COO of Memorial Hermann Health System, Houston
•    Christine Winn, executive director of Adult Health Institute and hospital-based services at Cooper University Health Care, Camden, N.J.
