9 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Anthony J. Tedeschi, MD, CEO of Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, was promoted to CEO of Tenet Healthcare's Chicago market.

2. Hamilton Memorial Hospital District in McLeansboro, Ill., selected its interim CEO, Greg Sims, to serve in the position permanently.

3. Alan Daugherty became CEO of Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia, Texas, and Ennis (Texas) Regional Medical Center March 2.

4. John Raffoul, DPA, became president and CEO of White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles March 1.

5. Jonathan M. Weld, a trustee of The Brooklyn (N.Y.) Hospital Center, became interim president and CEO of the hospital March 1.

6. El Paso (Texas) Children's Hospital named Mark Herbers CEO. Mr. Herbers began this role Feb. 27.

7. Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, Pa., named Jeffrey Holland interim CEO following the abrupt departure of CEO Bryan Burklow Feb. 27. Mr. Holland's appointment began March 2.

8. Medina (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital named Wendy Jacobson, the hospital's COO and CNO, interim president and CEO following the resignation of Dolores Horvath.

9. Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Ala., reported its CEO, David Wilson, will resign effective March 27. Mr. Wilson has accepted an offer to become CEO of North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
