The following CEO moves were reported within the past week.
1. Kerry Heinrich, JD, was named CEO of Loma Linda (Calif.) University Medical Center and Loma Linda University Children's Hospital as well as the Behavioral Medicine Center.
2. John E. Simodejka, president and CEO of Pottsville, Pa.-based Schuylkill Health, resigned from his post.
3. Avera St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre, S.D., named Bob Sutton regional president and CEO.
4. El Paso (Texas) Children's Hospital CEO Ray Dziesinski is stepping down from his post after being named to lead the hospital in April.
5. The Medical Group Management Association named Jerard J. Jensen interim CEO.
6. Dallas-based Forest Park Medical Center appointed Archie Drake as CEO.
7. Terry Akin will become president and CEO of Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health this fall before the winter retirement of CEO Tim Rice.
8. Northern Hospital in Mt. Airy, N.C., named Ned Hill as president and CEO, effective Oct. 6.
