7 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. The Institute for Diversity in Health Management of the American Hospital Association named Manuel Tomás León president and CEO to replace Fred Hobby, who led the institute for the last 10 years.

2. Mark Geller, MD, who had been serving as Nyack (N.Y.) Hospital's interim CEO since December 2014, will now fill the role permanently.

3. Gainesville-based University of Florida Health Shands announced the appointment of Ed Jimenez as the system's CEO, effective April 22.

4. Jerry Moeller, CEO of Stillwater (Okla.) Medical Center will retire Jan. 15 after 21 years with the hospital.

5. Lloyd Monger, CEO of Jonesboro, La.-based Jackson Parish Hospital resigned.

6. Hartford-based Connecticut Children's Medical Center President and CEO Martin J. Gavin plans to retire by the end of this year.

7. Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora named Jena Hausmann president and CEO, effective May 1, 2015.
