7 latest hospital CNO, CMO moves

The following seven hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last two weeks, starting with the most recent.

 

1. Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan., named Joyce Soule as CNO.

2. Houston-based CHI St. Luke's Health announced the appointment of Stephen Moore, MD, as CMO, effective April 6.

3. Dennis Lund, MD, a pediatric surgeon, will serve as CMO of Stanford Children's Health and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford in Palo Alto, Calif., beginning March 16.

4. Lee Johannsen, MD, was chosen as the first CMO of Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos. He is an emergency medicine physician.

5. Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Ind., chose Stanley Tretter, MD, who is board certified in family medicine, to serve as the hospital's first CMO.

6. Gloversville, N.Y.-based Nathan Littauer Hospital announced Stephanie Fishel, RN, as its vice president of patient care and CNO.

7. Concord, Ohio-based Lake Health announced the appointment of John J. Baniewicz, MD, a board-certified internist, to senior vice president and CMO.
