6 recent CNO, CMO moves

The following six hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves were covered by Becker's Hospital Review in the last two weeks, starting with the most recent.

1. Paladina Health in Denver named Jennifer Bajaj, MD, as CMO. Dr. Bajaj has more than 15 years of progressive clinical management and physician leadership experience.

2. John T. Pellicone, MD, was appointed CMO of HHC Metropolitan Hospital Center, part of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corp. Dr. Pellicone is a pulmonologist.

3. Houston-based Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital, part of Harris Health System in Houston, named Derek Curtis, DNP, RN, as CNO. Dr. Curtis has 15 years of nurse leadership experience.

4. The Brooklyn (N.Y.) Hospital Center promoted Mary Anne Healy-Rodriguez, PhD, RN, to senior vice president and chief nursing executive. She was previously the hospital's vice president of nursing operations.

5. David R. Ploss, MD, a cardiologist, was appointed CMO of Ukiah (Calif.) Valley Medical Center, part of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health.

6. Gallipolis, Ohio-based Holzer Health System named Amy Showalter as CNO.
