6 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Kevin Halter, CEO of Bon Secours Kentucky Health System in Ashland, was elected and installed as chairman of the Kentucky Hospital Association's board of trustees for 2015-16.

2. Federico "Fred" Martinez, CEO of St. Charles Parish Hospital in Luling, La., will retire later this year.

3. R. Craig McCoy was named CEO of Greenville, S.C.-based Bon Secours St. Francis Health System.

4. Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro, Texas, appointed Michael Ellis CEO, effective May 11.

5. Joel Criste, a long-time Bay Area health leader, was named CEO of the Bay Area-wide healthcare network being developed through a collaborative effort recently announced by University of California San Francisco Medical Center and Walnut Creek, Calif.-based John Muir Health.

6. Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman, Ohio, named Roland D. Gee interim CEO.
