7 latest healthcare CEO moves

The following healthcare CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Boulder (Colo.) Community Health appointed Robert Vissers, MD, president and CEO.

2. Keith Parrott, president and CEO of Birmingham, Ala.-based Baptist Health System, will serve as CEO of the new system formed by the merger of BHS and Birmingham-based Brookwood Medical Center.

3. Tanya Hoar, CEO and CFO of Manistique, Mich.-based Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital, resigned.

4. Peter Andruszkiewicz, president and CEO of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, will retire May 1, 2016.

5. Deerfield, Ill.-based Baxter International, a maker of hospital and renal products, named Jose Almeida chairman and CEO.

6. Josephine Rose, president and CEO of Auburn, N.Y.-based East Hill Family Medical, is no longer employed at the company.

7. Moses Lake, Wash.-based Samaritan Healthcare appointed Theresa Sullivan president and CEO.
