The following hospital and health system executive moves occurred within the last two weeks. They are listed below beginning with the most recent.

1. Brandon Clary, CEO of Edgefield (S.C.) Hospital, resigned.

2. Galesburg, Ill.-based Cottage Hospital announced the resignation of its CEO, Earl Tamar, MHA.

3. Weldon Gage, MBA, CFO of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, is leaving to take a position as CFO of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

4. Toni R. Ardabell was promoted to CEO of Bon Secours Richmond (Va.) Health System, effective Jan. 1, 2015.

5. Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio, appointed Greg Nielson, MHA, as CEO, effective Dec. 8.

6. Battle Creek, Mich.-based Summit Pointe CEO Erv Brinker was placed on paid administrative leave.

7. Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System President and CEO Steve Mason, MHA, announced he will retire in mid-2016. Tommy Inzina, MBA, CPA, BayCare's COO, was named Mr. Mason's successor.

8. Naples, Fla.-based Physicians Regional Healthcare System CEO Scott Campbell resigned.

9. Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth announced Alan Yordy, MBA, president and chief mission officer, will retire effective June 30, 2015.

10. Tacoma, Wash.-based CHI Franciscan Health appointed Ketul J. Patel, MHA, MBA, as CEO of the system and senior vice president of divisional operations for the Pacific Northwest Region of Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives.

11. Mark E. Doyle, MBA, was named administrator and CEO of Memorial Hospital Pembroke in Pembroke Pines, Fla., part of Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Healthcare System.

12. Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals named Melissa Waddey chief of staff, a newly created role.

13. Lawrence Barnard, CEO of University Medical Center in Las Vegas, is resigning to become president of San Francisco-based Dignity Health's San Martin Hospital, also in Las Vegas.

14. Derek Vance, MHA, was appointed CEO of LewisGale Hospital Pulaski (Va.).

15. Joseph Webb, PhD, was selected to serve as CEO of Nashville (Tenn.) General Hospital at Meharry.

16. After serving as interim CEO of Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno, Calif., for about a year, Lowell Johnson stepped down and Zareh Sarrafian entered the role.

17. Kim Milstien, MBA, resigned from her role as president and CEO of Simi Valley (Calif.) Hospital, part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System.

18. Dallas-based Children's Health System of Texas named Lawrence L. Foust, JD, LLM, MBA, executive vice president, chief legal officer and general counsel.

19. Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, Calif., named Daniel Kindron CFO and Louise White, RN, BSN, MHA, CNO and vice president of patient care services.

20. Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, Pa., named Chong Park, MD, CMO.

21. Sandra Austin, MPH, was appointed as CEO of Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

22. Providence Medical Center in Wayne, Neb., announced the resignation of CEO Thomas J. Lee, effective Feb. 20, 2015.

23. Houston-based University General Health System promoted Kris Trent, CPA, to CFO.

24. The Cleveland Clinic promoted Rebecca Starck, MD, as president of the new Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital.
