Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Fort Myers, Fla.-based Lee Health President and CEO Jim Nathan is retiring, after serving as leader of the health system for close to 36 years.

2. Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola University Medical Center selected Chad Whelan, MD, to serve as president.

3. Whitefish, Mont.-based North Valley Hospital named Chris Thomas CEO.

4. Duke Raleigh (N.C.) Hospital tapped Brian Sloan to serve as COO.

5. Columbus (Ind.) Regional Health selected R. Lee Kiser, MD, and Slade Crowder, MD, to serve as associate CMOs.

6. Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network appointed Richard Manchur president of Southview Medical Center in Centerville, Ohio.

7. Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center's Acting Chief of Staff Barbara Temeck, MD, was officially been suspended from the role, without pay.

8. Manchester, N.H.-based Elliot Health System selected Jean Ten Haken, MSN, RN, to serve as COO, effective May 1.

9. Brunswick-based Southeast Georgia Health System appointed Robert J. Bernasek, MD, CMO.

10. Fairmont (W. Va.) Regional Medical Center CEO and CNO Margaret Coster, MSN, RN, is retiring, effective April 30.

11. Hopewell, Va.-based John Randolph Medical Center CEO Suzanne Jackson is leaving her post.

12. Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System named David Ottati to the newly created role of president and CEO of the Central Florida Division-North Region.

13. Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health selected Hoda Asmar, MD, to serve as senior vice president and chief clinical officer, effective June 15.

14. Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center Regional President and CEO Dave Kapaska, DO, is retiring, effective June 30.

15. Long Beach, Calif.-based St. Mary Medical Center, part of San Francisco-based Dignity Health, hired Carolyn Caldwell to serve as president and CEO.

16. Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark., named J. Larry Shackelford CEO, effective Sept. 1.

17. HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Ill., appointed Aaron Puchbauer president and CEO, effective May 15.

18. Poinciana (Fla.) Medical Center appointed Christopher Cosby CEO, effective May 15.

19. Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights, Pa., tapped Suzanne M. Labriola, DO, to serve as CMO.

20. UnityPoint Health-St. Luke's in Sioux City, Iowa, appointed Wendy Lindley, MSN, RN, chief nursing executive.

21. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health Interim President and CEO Kevin Fusco is retiring, once again leaving the troubled health system without a leader.
