21 Hospital and Health System Executive Moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves occurred within the past week, beginning with the most recent.

1. Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N.J., named David McClung CFO.

2. Los Angeles-based Keck Medical Center of University of Southern California named Robert Allen CFO.

3. Vickie Newsome, CEO of Cleveland (Texas) Regional Medical Center, resigned, according to a Your Houston News report.

4. Valparaiso, Ind.-based Porter Health Care System named Stephen Lunn CEO, effective March 24, according to a report by The Times of Northwest Indiana.

5. Rapid City, S.D.-based Regional Health Network selected Kyle Richards as COO, according to a Rapid City Journal report.

6. Randy Combs, executive vice president and CFO of Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy, was let go by the health system.

7. Joseph Wilczek, CEO of Tacoma, Wash.-based Franciscan Health System and senior vice president for divisional operations of Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives, announced plans to retire, effective Jan. 12, 2015.

8. Melvin Fahs, CEO of Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Ohio, announced plans to retire.

9. Barbara Cliff, CEO of Windber (Pa.) Medical Center, is stepping down from her position in a mutual agreement with the hospital, according to a report by The Tribune-Democrat.

10. Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala., named Sarah Dudley COO, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.

11. Kim Harving, Andy McFaddin, MD, and Kay Raffield, PhD, resigned from their positions on the Sumter, S.C.-based Tuomey Healthcare System Board of Trustees, according to a report by The Sumter Item.

12. Chip Holmes, CEO of Ticonderoga, N.Y.-based Inter-Lakes Health, is stepping down to take a position at Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health Services, according to a Press Republican report.

13. Rebecca Brewer, CEO of Andalusia (Ala.) Regional Hospital, announced plans to resign, effective March 31, according to an Andalusia Star News report.

14. Neshoba County General Hospital and Nursing Home in Philadelphia, Miss., named Lee McCall CEO, according to a report by The Neshoba Democrat.

15. WellStar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Ga., selected Kevin Deter as COO, according to an Atlanta Business Chronicle report.

16. William Robertson, president and CEO of Gaithersburg, Md.-based Adventist HealthCare, is leaving the organization in April to lead Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health System.

17. Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, La., named Robert Charron CEO, effective April 1, according to a Beauregard Daily News report.

18. St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, N.Y., named Jennifer Sullivan permanent president and CEO.

19. Kathleen Sellick, president and CEO of Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, announced plans to retire due to medical reasons.

20. Tom Tran, senior vice president and CFO of Tampa, Fla.-based WellCare will be "leaving the company," according to the hospital.

21. John Bluford III, president and CEO of Kansas City, Mo.-based Truman Medical Centers announced plans to retire, effective July 18.
