20 latest hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system chief nursing officer and CMO moves in the last four weeks. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Chesapeake (Va.) Regional Healthcare selected Amber Egyud, DNP, RN, as its COO and chief nursing officer and Raymond McCue, MD, as CMO.

2. Osage Beach, Mo.-based Lake Regional Health System appointed Melissa Hunter, MSN, RN, senior vice president of clinical services and chief nursing officer.

3. Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, Mich., selected Mark Smith, MD, to serve as senior vice president, medical affairs and CMO.

4. Birmingham, Ala.-based Brookwood Baptist Health appointed Vish Sachdev, MD, CMO at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.

5. Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Ind., selected Eric Fish, MD, to serve as vice president of medical affairs and CMO.

6. David Chen, MD, is the new CMO at MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Wash., and MultiCare Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley, Wash.

7. Washington Regional Medical System in Fayetteville, Ark., named Meredith Green, MSN, senior vice president and chief nursing officer.

8. St. Joseph's Health in Syracuse, N.Y., selected Joseph W. Spinale, DO, as its new CMO, a newly created role.

9. Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health tapped Stuart M. Levine, MD, to serve as president and CMO of MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, effective immediately.

10. Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer, Mass., named Cheryl Bonasoro, MSN, RN, vice president and chief nursing officer.

11. Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, Calif., appointed Jeffrey M. Rosenburg, MD, as its new CMO.

12. Medical City Fort Worth (Texas) selected Terry Loftus, MD, as CMO and Damita J. Williams, BSN, MSN, RN, as chief nursing officer.

13. Abington-Jefferson Health in Abington, Pa., appointed Gerard M. Cleary, DO, senior vice president, chief of staff and CMO.

14. Seton Medical Center in Daly City, Calif., dropped the 'interim' from the title of Chief Nursing Officer Mark Brown, BSN, MSN.

15. Cartersville (Ga.) Medical Center selected Jan Tidwell to serve as its permanent chief nursing officer.

16. Niagara Falls (N.Y.) Memorial Medical Center named JoAnn Pellegrino, MS, RN, vice president and chief nursing officer, effective Sept. 25.

17. UC Irvine Health in Orange, Calif., named William Wilson, MD, CMO.

18. Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va., part of HCA Virginia, selected Suzanne Bertsch, BSN, to serve as its new chief nursing officer.
