12 Hospital and Health System Executive Moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves happened in the past week, beginning with the most recent.

1. Cindi Butcher, CEO of Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville, N.C., resigned, according to a Statesville Record & Landmark report.

2. UMass Memorial Health Care, based in Worcester, Mass., named Sergio Melgar executive vice president and CFO, effective Jan. 13.

3. Larry Duncan, CEO of El Paso (Texas) Children's Hospital, resigned, according to a KVIA report.

4. Timothy Goldfarb, CEO of Gainesville-based University of Florida Health Shands, will step down from his position to become UF Health executive vice president for regional and governmental affairs, effective July 1.

5. J. Scott Graham, CEO of Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, Wash., submitted a letter of resignation, citing "pattern[s] of retaliatory conduct toward me that has left me no alternative but to pursue other employment opportunities," according to a report by The Star of Grand Coulee.

6. Sonora (Calif.) Regional Medical Center selected Greg McCulloch as vice president of finance and CFO, effective May 5.

7. USMD Holdings, based in Irving, Texas, named Carolyn Jones as CFO, effective Jan. 6.

8. Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau, Alaska, appointed Charles Bill CEO, effective May 12.

9. Town & Country Hospital in Tampa, Fla., named Jake Fisher CEO, according to a Business Observer report.

10. HCA Virginia selected Brandon Haushalter as CEO of Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, a newly created position, effective May 1.

11. Wade Sturgeon, CEO of Orchard Hospital in Gridley, Calif., resigned, according to a KRCR report.

12. Pauls Valley (Okla.) General Hospital appointed John Dolan CEO, according to a Pauls Valley Daily Democrat report.
