11 recent hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

The following 11 hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves occurred or were announced in the last three weeks, starting with the most recent.

1. Judy Himes, MSN, the interim CNO of Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center, became the hospital's permanent CNO.

2. David Folks, MD, CMO of Concord-based New Hampshire Hospital, plans to leave the hospital in January 2017.

3. Johnson City, Tenn.-based Mountain States Health Alliance named Matthew Loos, MD, as vice president and CMO of its Washington County Market in Tennessee. Dr. Loos is board-certified in general surgery.

4. Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre, Mo., named Lauren Beckmann, BSN, RN, as assistant administrator and CNO.

5. Donald Stoner, MD, CMO of Daytona Beach, Fla.-based Halifax Health, announced plans to retire.

6. Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, Calif., chose W. Eugene Egerton, MD, as its CMO. Dr. Egerton is pediatrician.

7. St. Louis-based Ascension Senior Living appointed Kevin O'Neil, MD, as its CMO.

8. CHI Memorial in Chattanooga, Tenn., named Helen Kuroki, MD, an OB-GYN, as its senior vice president and CMO.

9. Rahul Dhawan, DO, was appointed CMO of St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, Calif. Dr. Dhawan is a hospitalist.

10. Kingwood (Texas) Medical Center named Kevin Manning, MSN, RN, as CNO.

11. VA New England Healthcare System in Bedford, Mass., named Ganga Hematillake, MD, as CMO.
