10 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves occurred within the last two weeks. They are listed below beginning with the most recent.

1. Mark E. Doyle, MBA, was named administrator and CEO of Memorial Hospital Pembroke in Pembroke Pines, Fla., part of Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Healthcare System.

2. Lawrence Barnard, CEO of University Medical Center in Las Vegas, is resigning to become president of San Francisco-based Dignity Health's San Martin Hospital, also in Las Vegas.

3. Derek Vance, MHA, was appointed CEO of LewisGale Hospital Pulaski (Va.).

4. Joseph Webb, PhD, was selected to serve as CEO of Nashville (Tenn.) General Hospital at Meharry.

5. After serving as interim CEO of Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno, Calif., for about a year, Lowell Johnson stepped down as Zareh Sarrafian entered the role.

6. Kim Milstien, MBA, resigned from her role as president and CEO of Simi Valley (Calif.) Hospital, part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System.

7. Sandra Austin, MPH, was appointed as CEO for Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

8. Providence Medical Center in Wayne, Neb., announced the resignation of CEO Thomas J. Lee, effective Feb. 20, 2015.

9. Rob Casalou, current president and CEO of St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor (Mich.) and St. Joseph Mercy Livingston in Howell, Mich., was appointed regional president and CEO of Ann Arbor-based Saint Joseph Mercy Health System.

10. Anderson, S.C.-based AnMed Health named William T. Manson III CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2015.
