President Jonathan Davis: Serving the Community at Methodist Charlton Medical Center
Jonathan Davis, FACHE, has served as president of Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas since October 2009.
Prior to joining Methodist Charlton, Mr. Davis served as the president and CEO of Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg, Kan. While he was there, he oversaw the implementation of a five-year master facility plan and the construction of a cardiac step-down unit, among other accomplishments.
At Methodist Charlton, Mr. Davis has overseen large-scale growth. "I am most proud of our continued efforts to expand our clinical services to better serve, improve and save lives in our community," he says. Under his watch, the hospital has improved access to its cardiology services, launched an open heart surgery program, started a Centering Pregnancy Program that aims to decrease premature births, opened a QuickCare Clinic and is in the process of developing a sleep center, in addition to investing in improving the hospital's current facilities. "These collective accomplishments by our team of professionals and their individual commitment, involvement and expertise to serve more of our community every day makes me very proud," Mr. Davis says.
Mr. Davis' accomplishments have garnered state and national attention. He was given the American College of Healthcare Executives' Early Careerist Regent's Award in 2003, was named Young Administrator of the Year by the Arkansas Healthcare Executives Forum in 2005 and was named a 40 under 40 Honoree by the Joplin Tri-State Region's Business Journal in 2007.
