President John Phillips: Expanding Service Lines at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center
John Phillips, FACHE, has served as the president of Methodist Mansfield (Texas) Medical Center since August 2011.
Prior to joining Methodist, Mr. Phillips was the COO of Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas. He also led the development of new service lines at Christus St. Michael Health System, including adding a neonatal intensive care unit, among other additions.
He has also worked to expand service lines at Methodist Mansfield. In October, the hospital opened a new wound care and hyperbaric center. "We are excited to add…to the wide range of services we offer at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center," Mr. Phillips told the Mansfield News-Mirror.
In addition to his duties as COO, Mr. Phillips serves on the Texas Hospital Association committee on leadership development. He has also served as the chairman of the American Heart Association Heart Ball in Texarkana and has been on the Junior League of Texarkana advisory board.
