CFO Palmira Cataliotti: Working up the Chain at Winthrop-University Hospital
But her roots to Winthrop are not exclusive to her financial role. Ms. Cataliotti, who was born at Winthrop and a native of Mineola, was a volunteer at the hospital when she was a teenager.
Ms. Cataliotti officially joined Winthrop in 1997 as an accounting manager. She worked her way up the executive chain over the ensuing 11 years, becoming assistant controller, controller, director of finance and finally CFO in 2008.
Before WUH, Ms. Cataliotti — a certified public accountant and member of several professional accounting organizations — worked at Arthur Andersen as a senior accountant.
