CFO Mike Buongiorno: Centralized Performance at Main Line Health

Mike Buongiorno is CFO of Main Line Health, the parent company of Bryn Mawr (Pa.) Hospital and three other Pennsylvania acute-care hospitals. In his role, Mr. Buongiorno oversees the health system's $1.7 billion in annual revenues.

Mike Buongiorno is CFO of Main Line Health.His tenure at Main Line began in 1994 as a regional CFO, managing finances for both Bryn Mawr (Pa.) Rehabilitation Hospital and Paoli (Pa.) Hospital and helping to transition the system into its current centralized financial model. He became the system's CFO and treasurer in 1997. Today, he is also the vice president of finance and treasurer for the Lankenau Medical Center Foundation, part of Main Line's network.

Mr. Buongiorno held a previous CFO role at the now-closed Mercy Community Hospital in Havertown, Pa., and worked for 13 years as a CPA with Coopers & Lybrand. He holds a bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's University.
