CFO Jeremy Roberge: Taking the Financial Reins at Huggins Hospital
Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, N.H., named Jeremy Roberge CFO — his first hospital CFO position and the pinnacle of his career thus far.
"It has been my career goal to be a hospital CFO," Mr. Roberge said. "Everyone I met at Huggins during the interview process gave me a comfort level that made me feel I will have the opportunity to make a difference."
Mike Connelly, the recently appointed president and CEO of Huggins Hospital, said in a news release that Mr. Roberge's valuable experience in the area would translate into positive results at the hospital.
"His familiarity with New Hampshire rural healthcare, his strong finance background and his experience working directly with caregivers made him an obvious choice for the CFO role," Mr. Connelly said. "We are confident that he will make positive and lasting contributions to the leadership team and the Huggins Hospital community."
Previously, Mr. Roberge was the reimbursement director of Androscroggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, N.H., for the past four years. A graduate of Plymouth State University with a bachelor's in accounting and a certified public accountant, Mr. Roberge also was the CFO of the Coos County Family Health Services, also in Berlin.
He also worked for a New England-area public accounting firm, specializing in healthcare audits, and he was a member of the New Hampshire Army National Guard in Manchester from 1997 to 2003.
