For the past 27 years, David Miller has been an integral part of the financial foundation of Dayton (Ohio) Children's, a 155-bed freestanding hospital that is a regional leader in pediatric care.
Mr. Miller oversees the hospital's transactions processes, investments, the Medical Center Foundation and all other major financial areas.
Fiscal year 2012 was a strong financial year for Dayton Children's. Mr. Miller recorded more than $200.7 million in net patient revenue, and the hospital's operating income topped $28.8 million for an operating margin of 14.4 percent — almost unheard of at hospitals today.
