CFO Carol May: Seeing Success at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital & Clinics

Since 2008, Carol May has served as CFO of Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital & Clinics, a non-profit system with a 36-bed acute hospital in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.

In January, Moody's Investors Services assigned an initial "Ba1" rating to the system's $38 million in fixed-rate bonds. It held 178 days cash on hand and boasted a 10.4 percent operating cash flow margin as of Oct. 31, 2012.

Ms. May held a previous CFO role at a Minneapolis hospital and worked for 26 years in financial roles for Mercy Health System, based in Janesville, Wis. She is a CPA and earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
