CEO Todd Almendinger: Back to his College Days at Magruder Hospital
Todd Almendinger was appointed president and CEO of Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, Ohio, in November 2012.
Prior to taking the top spot at Magruder Hospital, Mr. Almendinger served as the hospital's vice president of finance and CFO, a position he took in 2006. Mr. Almendinger has also served as the vice president of finance and CFO of Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio.
When Mr. Almendinger became CFO of Magruder Hospital in 2006, it was his first senior-level position, but not his first ever position, at the hospital: he is a former Magruder intern. "Going back to the time when I served my college internship at Magruder under Robert Dumminger, this hospital has always been special to me," Mr. Almendinger said in a news release. "Growing up in Fremont I have always liked this area and when the opportunity came up in 2006 to work at Magruder, the move was right for me and my family. I am…excited to continue work with this team of people."
Mr. Almendinger earned both his bachelor's degree and his MBA from Bowling Green (Ohio) State University. He is a member of the Health Care Financial Management Association and the American College of Health Care Executives.
