CEO Randy Oostra: Innovating for ProMedica Health System and Ohio's Economy
Prior to joining ProMedica, Mr. Oostra held leadership positions at St. Anthony's Health System in Alton, Ill., Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Mich., and Allina Health System in Minneapolis.
In 2012, Mr. Oostra was named to the Ohio Third Frontier Advisory Board which provides guidance to the Ohio Third Frontier Commission. The Ohio Third Frontier is a state initiative focused on boosting the state's economy by supporting companies committed to job creation, research and developing new technology-based products. "It is an honor…to help lead this initiative and provide opportunities to companies devoted to keeping Ohio on the cutting edge," Mr. Oostra said in a statement. "At ProMedica, innovation is one of our core values to emphasize our dedication to enhancing the quality of healthcare and ensuring that patients experience the best possible medical outcomes."
Mr. Oostra has been involved in other organizations in the Toledo area as well. He has served on several boards of non-profit organizations, such as Cherry Street Mission and the United Way of Greater Toledo.
